Choose the sailing origin

Ultramar lists Puerto Juárez–Isla Mujeres, with the Puerto Juárez terminal on Avenida José López Portillo. Playa Tortugas and Playa Caracol are separate departure choices. Select the exact origin when checking tickets.

Plan transport to the chosen port as a separate leg. Read current departure information, ticket conditions and disruption notices before committing to the crossing.

For Playa Caracol, include the dock fee payable at the terminal; it is excluded from the ferry fare.

A day trip keeps the same bed

Check the return journey before buying the outward ticket. Ask your accommodation about luggage and any instructions for returning late.

Pick one purpose for the outing and check its access or opening information separately. Keep the return flexible enough for your next commitment in Cancun.

An overnight move adds another arrival

Confirm the island accommodation, booked night and admission before giving up your Cancun room. Include luggage and transport from the island terminal to the new address.

Check the following departure too, especially if the island stay comes before a flight. A one-way ferry ticket is only one part of the move.

Compare the full cost

For a day trip, add port access, outward and return crossings and the journey back to the hostel. For an overnight move, include the island room and both terminal legs.

Check whether the ticket terms apply to the port and journey you intend to use. Do not assume a fare, timetable or ticket from another departure point transfers to your route.
